2. I can't find a sound clip of the combination I would like to hire. Do you have one you can send me?
If we have a recording we will be happy to send it to you via email or through the regular mail.
3. Can I add a singer to perform my favorite song?
Yes, provided the song is in the singers' repertoire. You may request a song outside of the standard repertoire as long as there is sufficient time for preparation. Our singers are capable of performing a range of styles in the following languages: Latin, German, Italian, French, Spanish, and English.
4. What do you recommend for a church wedding? An outdoor wedding?
For a traditional church wedding we suggest all classical. Many churches actually require it, so it's best to check with yours first. If it is a large church consider a brass quintet or trumpet with organ. Throughout history royalty has been presented and greeted with the heralding of trumpets and the rich tones of the organ. It is a wonderful sound and will add a regal touch!
It is also traditional in a church wedding to have a solo performed by a classical singer, often accompanied by organ or piano. This is usually during communion or the lighting of the Unity Candle. Some favorites are Panis Angelicus, Ave Maria, The Gift of Love, and others. In Catholic ceremonies there may be a solo when presenting gifts to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Consider "Ave Maria" for this.
Outdoor and garden weddings or other venues are perfect for string quartets, harp duets, woodwind quintets, and guitar with flute. Any type of music is beautiful with these combinations. Vocal songs like All I Ask Of You, The Prayer, You Raise Me Up, Flower Duet from Lakme, and others are less traditional and very popular! Consider these groups when electricity is either not provided or not allowed.
Keep in mind that really anything goes. This is your day and you should choose music of any style to be performed by the type of instruments that appeal to you most. We will work with you to find the perfect arrangement.
